Benefits of inclusion.

Inclusive employment doesn’t only benefit the individual being hired, there are many benefits for the business and current employees as well!

Tax benefits

In some cases, there may be tax benefits available to employers of people with IDD.

Supported employment.

You’re not alone. In many cases individuals with IDD will have support staff to accompany them and help aid the transition into your business.

New perspectives.

The world becomes a little larger when we embrace differences and can often lead to more innovative thinking.

Workplace culture.

Moods, morale, and workplace culture can all be enhanced for all employees by embracing inclusive employment.

All about AllWorkCT

AllWorkCT is a collaborative effort with private, public, and nonprofit partners to increase competitive inclusive employment (CIE) for individuals with disabilities in Connecticut.

We do this by connecting the business community with organizations offering services to help with hiring and employing individuals with IDD.

AllWorkCT efforts start here, in the Farmington Valley, with the goal of increasing employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) locally. Our hope is that this focused launch will serve as a test bed for a broader, more extensive effort across Connecticut for all disabilities.

80%

of people with IDD are unemployed.

Over 1 billion

people have a disability.

1.6x

more revenue for disability inclusion leaders.

2.6x
